Anderson University is a Christ-centered, private institution in Anderson, South Carolina, grounded in four pillars: Great Academics, Great Faith, Great Hospitality, and Great Purpose. Recognizing the growing importance of digital experiences, AU is working to ensure that its online touchpoints, including the University website, fully reflect its values and engage prospective students, parents, alumni, and community partners who increasingly expect seamless and intuitive interactions.
With over 70% of Gen Z beginning their college search entirely online, there is an exciting opportunity to extend AU’s signature hospitality and mission into the digital space.
For this project, I served as the lead designer, crafting thoughtful and intentional user experiences tailored to our audience types. The goal is to create digital touchpoints that are intuitive, welcoming, and aligned with AU’s pillars. These touchpoints are designed to support rigorous learning, integrate faith and hospitality, and guide students as they explore a purposeful life—from their very first interaction through lifelong engagement with the AU community. The project is scheduled to launch in the summer of 2026, marking the next step in bringing AU’s mission and hospitality fully into the digital space.
